All students, faculty and staff at all Penn State locations.

IT SERVICE(S) IMPACTED:
All Penn State wireless services and residence halls’ wired network traffic.

DATE AND TIME:
Wireless and residence halls’ wired networks will be affected from 5:00 AM ET until 7:00 AM ET 09/25/2018.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
The Penn State wireless core routers will have their operating systems upgraded to address a known issue that causes the routing engines to failover to the standby routing engine. There may be a brief interruption to the wireless service as a result of performing the upgrade.
