Emergency PASS Server Maintenance Scheduled for October 16, 2013

On Wednesday, October 16, 2013, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window (5:00-7:00 a.m.), Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform emergency maintenance to one of the file system technologies supporting Penn State Access Account Storage Service (PASS). The work being done tomorrow is the first part of a multi-phase maintenance phase. Subsequent phases will take place in the near future.

Users accessing PASS through nfs.pass.psu.edu may experience a degradation and/or interruption of service during this period. Those clients maintaining persistent mounts of PASS may require a remount operation, after the upgrade is completed, to fully restore functionality.
