Pollock Hub site Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) replacement

Scheduled Maintenance – UPS replacement at Pollock hub site on Jan 5th, 2017 at 5:00AM – ENCS will be replacing the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system that serves the Pollock HUB site on Thursday 01/05/2017, starting at 5AM with work expected to be completed by 5PM.

In order to perform this work, all equipment at the Pollock HUB site will transferred to temporary power. This temporary power source will not have UPS protection. We anticipate the transfer and operation of the equipment on the temporary power source to NOT be service affecting and users will not see any outage.

In the event of an unplanned power loss to the Pollock electrical feed, ENCS services would go offline for the duration of the electrical outage or until we would be able to complete the upgrade and transfer back to UPS / Emergency Power.

Services that have the potential to be affected include:
Pollock Hub site Layer 2 and 3 Network connections that are not redundant.
