Shared Service Catalog Update in ServiceNow

On Monday, July 20, the Penn State Service Management Program will be releasing an updated service catalog in ServiceNow. The service catalog will be shared by Outreach and Online Education, Information Technology Services (ITS), Smeal College of Business, Penn State Harrisburg, and Penn State York, and will be organized by higher-level business services, under which each subunit will have its own service offerings.

As a result of this update, Outreach and Online Education and ITS staff will see a new look-up table for the “Service” field when opening an incident or change in ServiceNow. Smeal, Harrisburg, and York staff will now be able to open and route incidents and changes for unit- and campus-specific services.
