TLT/LAT Storage Area Network update on March 6th, 2017

On Monday, March 6, during the scheduled maintenance window from 5:00 — 7:00 am ET, Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) will be performing a system update to their Learning Applications and Technologies (LAT) Storage Area Network (SAN). During this update NO services should be affected and the change can be rolled back if it were to cause a problem with the SAN. However, if there was to be a catastrophic failure during the update, the following TLT services could be affected/unavailable:

Accessibility Scanning
Meeting @ PennState
CLM
eTesting
Media Commons
Printing Services
WebApps
UDrive
Profiles
Linux Cluster
Software Asset Management
Mobile Device Management
SharePoint
LAT SQL
SysMan
LAT Web Servers

Logging in to labs workstations would not be affected in case of failure.

Updates will be posted to this alert during the duration of this update.
