Update: Proxy.psu.edu (formerly proxy.aset.psu.edu) is being upgraded

PEOPLE AND LOCATIONS IMPACTED:

All students, faculty, staff at all Penn State locations

IT SERVICE(S) IMPACTED:

proxy.psu.edu (formerly proxy.aset.psu.edu) is being upgraded.

DATE AND TIME:

Services will be affected from 5:00 A.M. ET on 03/05/2019 until 7:00 A.M. ET on 03/05/2019.

NOTES:

Proxy.psu.edu backend servers are being upgraded to a new version of software, OS, and hardware.

No outage is expected during the upgrade since this is a load balanced service.

Proxy.psu.edu and proxy.aset.psu.edu will still both continue to work after the upgrade. There is no need to make any changes.
